Dan DeMarco
Owner
Dan has owned Vastola since 2012 and brings 45+ years total HVAC experience
Dan is a proud WNY Native with nearly 5 decades of HVAC Experience. With Dan’s commitment to excellence and his passion for HVAC, he has dedicated himself to community service – ensuring the year-round comfort of fellow WNY residents is always met.
Dan is a devoted husband, father to three daughters, and grandfather to four grandchildren! When Dan isn’t working, he enjoys traveling, spirited games of pickleball, attending Buffalo Bills games, and cherishes quality time with his family, friends, and his two dogs.
Jack Smith
Operations Manager
Time at Vastola: 25 years, 35+ years total HVAC experience
What Jack likes the most about being Vasola’s Operations Manager is problem solving! He likes collaborating with his colleagues and building teams to solve complex HVAC problems, not only for the company, but more importantly, for our customers! Jack also loves teaching everyone about HVAC, especially the younger and newer techs that are just getting started in the HVAC industry.
When Jack isn’t working, he loves spending time with his wife, his kids, and grandchildren. Next to his personal relationship with God, his family is the most important part of his life! Jack is also a nature enthusiast but has a specific disdain for mosquitoes.
Charles Schalberg (CJ)
Sales Consultant & Project Manager
Time at Vastola: 12 years, 15 years total HVAC experience
CJ likes meeting new people and providing satisfying solutions for their HVAC needs! He thrives on customer satisfaction and humbly expresses pride when a customer calls and/or leaves a Google review stating how happy they are with the decision to use Vastola and the experience they had using our Install team for their new unit(s).
In CJ’s free time he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and enjoys watching and attending local sporting events.
Danny DeMarco
Sales Consultant & Project Manager
Time at Vastola: 7 years, 10 years total HVAC experience
Working at Vastola has brought a lot of joy into Dan’s life! He enjoys seeing all of the beautiful towns and houses throughout WNY and going to places he’s never been before. He also likes meeting all of the people in our WNY region, getting to know them, and being a source of comfort when addressing any and all of a home or business owners HVAC and/or Generator needs.
When Dan isn’t working, he enjoys attending sporting events, going to different restaurants and breweries, and relaxing at home!
Durea Baker
Service Coordinator
Time at Vastola: 9 years, 20 years total HVAC experience
Durea loves educating her customers with HVAC experience. She feels it’s necessary for the customer to understand the basics on how their home systems work! She also loves the relationships she’s built with our customers and advocates for them 100% of the time!
You can find Durea at the beach when she isn’t at work! Raised in Angola not far from the water, she turns to the lake to find inner peace, calm, and comfort. She also finds happiness in being with her family, watching her grandson on the weekends, and being creative with her sewing projects!
Teresa Graham
Office Manager
Time at Vastola: 4 years, 35 years total relevant office management experience
As a former GC for Barden Homes and a real estate agent, Teresa brings 34 years of experience in hands on organization, management, and knowledge to Vastola. She’s had the greatest pleasure working with homeowners and subcontractors and has worked with Dan Demarco since the beginning. She enjoys being part of the Vastola’s growth and success.
When Teresa isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 children and 2 grandchildren. She is a Buffalo Bills fan, and loves attending and watching games, as well as boating and traveling.
Emily S.
Office Assistant
Time at Vastola: 1 year, 8 years total Customer Service experience
Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends and unwinding on beach vacations.
Greg Dolegala
New Home Development Manager
Time at Vastola: 11 years, 30+ years total HVAC experience
Greg loves building relationships with the contractors we work with and the collaborative nature of building new homes. He thrives on learning new skills to better himself and to continue to fulfill the responsibilities that his role requires.
Outside of work Greg loves relaxing with is wife at their “Happy Place”, which is a lakefront property they go to every weekend during the summertime. He loves boating, kayaking, fishing, and golfing! In the winter he’s all about football and enjoys watching the games with his wife and three sons!
Brian Whelan
Commercial Project Manager
Time at Vastola: 7 years, 35+ years total HVAC experience
What Brian likes the most about his position is seeing the process through – from creating estimates, selling the job, managing the job, then watching the job come to life! He loves working with and advocating for his customers, offering his expertise, and helping others.
During Brian’s free time, he loves spending time with family and friends, vacationing, and attending sporting events and concerts.
Danny Twist
Warehouse Manager
Time at Vastola: 5 years, 20 years total warehouse experience
Being a member of the Vastola team is Dans’ favorite thing about working here. Although Dan’s position can often be overlooked, Dan has a hand in every job that Vastola has the pleasure of doing for our customers. Every piece of equipment needed for every job goes through Dan’s hands at one point or another.
Outside of work you can find Dan seeing and playing live music, free-hand pinstriping and sign painting, and loves spending time with his wife, dog, and family.
Vastola’s Technician Team
Our Technician Team truly is the backbone of Vastola! Our techs range in experience from 2 – 25+ years of experience! We have a passion for the trades and empower our team with continuous training through our in house training program, known as Vastola University, and on site learning experiences since day one of their employment with us. Our Technicians do their best to ensure the customer is happy with the outcome of their work and that every job is finished accurately and thoroughly!
